The Feather and Bed Sheet Game
This one is from Lindsey, a youth leader extraordinaire from Richmond Alliance Church in Richmond, BC. Thanks Lindsey for being our first guest contributor!
I did this game with my youth group (20 youth), and they all enjoyed it.
Materials: one bed sheet and one feather.
We split the 20 youth into 4 teams of 5. Each team took one side of the sheet. When everyone was ready, a youth leader would drop the feather in the middle of the sheet, and then each team would try as hard as they could to try and keep the feather from coming onto their side of the sheet. If the feather fell onto the ground on their side, they get a point/mark. But the point is NOT to get points. Basically, each team is trying to keep the feather from coming near their side, and trying hard to get it onto another team’s side.
