The Purple Book (Biblical Foundations)

The Purple Book (Biblical Foundations) is a great start for a new believer. When I used to attend Victory Christian Fellowship in the Philippines, it was the first bible study that they encouraged you to take. It helps you to learn about what you believe and why you believe it by delving into the bible and pointing out each verse that related to that topic. It has twelve chapters and each chapter has 5 days worth of homework. I know it might seem like a lot of work, but for new Christians it is also a great and non-intimidating way to start reading the Word of God.

- Lordship & Obedience

- Repentance & Baptism

- The Holy Spirit & Spiritual Gifts

- Spiritual Hunger & God's Word

- Discipleship & Leadership

- Spiritual Familty & Church Life

- Prayer & Worship

- Faith & Hope

- Biblical Prosperity & Generosity

- Evangelism & World Missions

- Resurrection & Judgement

Seriously, just great material and a great tool to get on the same page with your youth and have great conversation. I have done this study at every church that we have gotten involved with and am not tired of doing it over and over again, I learn something new everytime.
